These soft sour cream cookies are made with pure Brantview Farms Maple syrup and sugar and topped with an amazing maple glaze. The cookies are easy to make and eat!
Ingredients:
1 cup pure Brantview Farms Maple syrup 1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup pure Brantview Farms Maple sugar 2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 cups powdered sugar
2-3 T (or more) pure Brantview Farms Maple syrup
Nuts (if desired to top cookies)
Directions:
Mix maple syrup, shortening, maple sugar, eggs, sour cream and vanilla extract together.
Mix thoroughly then add flour, baking soda, and salt. Blend. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Drop rounded tablespoonful of dough onto greased baking or cookie sheet, about 2 inches apart.
Bake for 10 minutes.
When cookies are slightly cooled, spread with maple syrup glaze (powdered sugar and maple syrup).
Makes 3-4 dozen cookies depending on size.
