Sunset Ham Balls

This spicy sweet take on traditional ham loaf is unique, turning the oven loaf into a easy crockpot hit! Perfect for fast dinner or party appetizer, these Sunset Ham Balls use pure Brantview Farms Maple sugar to pack in robust flavor.

 

Ingredients:

1 lb lean ham or ham loaf 1 cup fresh bread crumbs 1 egg 2 T dried onion flakes 1 tsp parsley 1/8 tsp seasoned salt 1/2 tsp yellow mustard 1/4 tsp allspice 2 T pure Brantview Farms Maple sugar

Directions:

Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 min or until browned. Mix 1/2 cup BBQ sauce, 5 oz apricot preserves, 5 oz pineapple preserve (or 10 oz apricot-pineapple preserves) and heat on stove until blended well to coat ham balls. Heat on low in crockpot and enjoy! Makes 24 ham balls.
